Char mukhi means four faces, and this diya carries four flames at once. Each wick points to one of the four directions. The idea is simple and lovely. Light reaches every corner, and blessings flow all around.
There is no handle on this one, so it rests neatly wherever you place it. Feed each of the four wells with ghee and the flames rise together as a single warm halo. It is a favourite for aarti and for the brighter days of the festival calendar. Solid brass gives it weight and a mellow shine. Four flames, one quiet blessing.
