A tall gold mukut set with crystal and a garnet rosette, a coral-orange shawl bunched at the shoulders, and a bright azure dhoti banded with ruby-red stones. A crystal chain runs the length of the trunk, and the tilak is painted in pink and teal — a small, unusual touch you will not find on the other Diamond idols. The mushak rests on the grey plinth at his right.
Made in Pen from shadu mitti, hand-painted, then set with stones one at a time. The blue is the hardest colour to get even on clay, which is why it is used sparingly across the collection.
Fully biodegradable. At visarjan, the clay softens and disperses, leaving Australian waterways exactly as they were.
